I had this conversation with one of my client in the North, at first it was purely business talk. Then it became personal, she asked about my profession. Then the conversations went on, na-irritate ata si ate!


"Saan ka nag-practice?"


"Sa PMA po."


"Ah talaga, sino mga client mo dun?"


"Mga plebo."


"Talaga, bakit di ka nag-PMA-er?"


"Ay, hindi ko kaya yun! Pang-lalaki yun eh!


"Ala 'to ngay, ta' lalaki ka naman a'. Anu ginagawa mo duon?"


"E di nagtrea-treat ng mga injured sa training, if i know ako lang binabalikan nila sa clinic"


"Ang landi mo talaga!


"Dapat sa susunud na punta mo, makikita ko ang progress mo, hindi ganyan na ang hinhin-hinhin mo!" Dapat, sa susunud may ipapakilala ka ng girlfriend!"


"Girlfriend?! Ganun, parang ayaw mo na akong pabisitahin dito nyan. Marami akong girl friends, even boy friends"


"Hindi a', ta girlfriend na as in girlfriend talaga!"


"Girlfriend?!"


"Eh anung gusto mo, boyfriend?!


Napangiti ako kay Madam,


"Bakit, may boyfriend ka na?!"


Si madam, masyado nang nakikitsismis sa buhay ko!


"May kaklase din ako nung college, ganyan din"


"Anung ganyan din, ma'am?"


"Wala, "masayahin". Bakit ganyan kayo, MAGBAGO NA KAYO, ta' LALAKI DIN NAMAN KAYO, NAKAKABUNTIS!"


"Bakit ma'am, ayaw mo sa mga "masayahin" ?"


"Wala lang.."


"May asawa ka na ba ma'am?"


"Oo."


"Same work kayo?"


"Hindi."


"Saang field naman sya?"


Then she answered..


"Ah ok, nasaan sya ngaun?"


"Nasa states"


"Wow! Eh di susunud ka sa kanya?"


"Hindi pa ngayon"


"Ilang years na sya duon?"


"4 years"


"Eh di may baby na kayo?"


"Wala pa, ta' pagkakasal namin nilayasan na nya ako ka-agad, pumunta ng America!"


I said to myself: "kaya naman pala!"

I attended the engagement dinner of Bea and Gilbert last night with some of their very close friends. It was held at "La Cocina de Tita Moning" in San Miguel, Manila, in Malacanang.

Sobrang nakakahiya dahil late ako! Not just that, the worst part, the couple were late too because of me! Nakakahiya!

I was planning to file a leave for the said occassion but I decided not to since I have an important meeting to attend in the office. Importante ang meeting kaya hindi pwedeng mag-leave. Besides, gabi pa naman ang event. Sobrang antok ko during the meeting, nakatulog nga ako while the meeting was on going, thanks to my seatmate, napagising nya ako sa mga "You Changed My Life" updates nya!

Teacher Yvonne, thanks to her at nawawala antok ko sa story nya about the "a very special love" sequel!

During our lunch break, I texted Portia to pick me up at 5 P.M in Ortigas, kasi coding ako. The program was 8:30 AM - 5 PM. It was already 4 PM, then I review the program, I saw that we still have some topics that has yet to be discussed. I texted Portia and asked her to pick me up at 6P.M. instead. Then I suddenly lost track of the time, My mind was too involved in the meeting. Nakalimot ako! then bigla ko naalala, nakasilent nga pala mga phones ko. When I check, 20 missed calls on my Suncel and 21 missed calls on my Globe! Portia and Bea was calling me! Inbox was full asking if am done. One message reads: "starbucks metrowalk, text us if done with the meeting daanan ka namin ni Bea". OMG! all the while I thought, it was only Portia who's waiting for me! I told them to go ahead and I will just follow if they plan to go somewhere else after the dinner. Sobrang nakakahiya talaga! Bea still asked me to follow at the dinner. So I did! Good thing walang traffic kagabi papunta sa Malacanang!

Naligaw pa ako kasi di naman ako pumupunta sa Malacanang, di ko yun alam, pero nahanap ko rin! Invited guests were already there, ako nalang wala! Dra. Cath, a Medical Oncologist from St. Lukes, her Mom, and Mon a long time friend in the industry! When I arrived, around 8:30 PM I learned that Gilbert was also with them in Metrowalk waiting for me! Waaaaaaah! Pa-star na talaga ako! I hated my self! Dra. Cath told me to compose myself and relax, she assures me that it's okay. Mon also told me that am just in time and staff is just about to serve the food. However, Portia and the couple missed the tour of the place.

The venue is an ancestral home of the Legarda that was converted to a restaurant, mala- museum/ ala - Villa Escudero! Antiques were on display. There is a Felix Hidalgo painting owned by the family worth 3 Million pesos, well that was according to Mon! They serve Spanish - Filipino dishes, and the food really tastes good!

Gilbert was hesitant to read his speech because he has nothing to give to Bea. The ring was left in Bea's car that was parked in Metro Hospital. Portia pick them up at Metro before they went to Ortigas. We said that he can say it even without the ring. Just give it later when their alone together. So he reads! It was so sweet! That was a Kilig moment! Bea was speechless!

With Mon, Sisterhood Joy will be so inggit pagnalaman nya ito! Mon was once part of the ORALSEX, but transferred to new ventures!

We went to Moomba pagkatapos namin magkulitan sa venue after the dinner! Doon namin sinalubong ang Valentines!

with the soon to be married couple! Gilbert was born in the U.S, his parents are Filipino. He lives in Anaheim, California.

I attended the baby shower of Audrax, the wife of Berting, as promised during Amu's birthday!

Nagbawi sa atraso ko sa kanya nung kasal. Hindi kasi ako nagising ng maaga kaya di ako naka-attend sa kasal nila ni Audrax (Audrey), December last year. Imagine,the night before his wedding, nagdala sya ng invitation kina Portia with my name particularly on it! ang arte ko daw kasi, kailangan specified at hindi extended invitation lang.

First time ko din na-meet naging wife ni Berting! Sa dami ng na-meet ko na GF nya, yung nakatuluyan pa nya ang hindi ko pa nami-meet! Actualy, sabay na din ang birthday ni Audrax sa baby shower event!

Dami umattend, kasi marami invited si Berting, para daw maraming regalo! Ikaw na maging vice president ng association sa Pasay!

Usually, women friends of the mother to be ang magthrow- ng baby shower, but in this case, Si Berting ang nagtawag sa friends nya para sa baby shower! Excited father!

Nangulit na naman ang tandem ni Cabz at Portia! Kinagulat ni Mike na may gift kami ni Portia for the baby. Akala kasi nya parang wala lang ang event, the usual get-together. Ngayun lang daw nya nalaman kung anu ang baby shower! Pinagtawanan sya ni Portia at nakihati na lang sya sa gastos ng mga binili naming gifts! Mike: "Bakit wala na bang Binyag?!"

Nag bi-busy - busy-han ako, kaya walang entry!

January, everyone is back to work! During the first two weeks, we were required to submit our self appraisal. Oh well, I was harsh on myself! But kind enough to improve for the better. I also presented my calendar of activities and plans for the year. Pile of paper works were finalized and submitted. Pero yun na yun for the work part.

Marami kasi ako naging mga personal na lakad other than work!

Portia organized a reunion with our former counterparts. It was Amu's post birthday celebration too.
Portia told me that she will pick me up in Ortigas before 3 PM because her "piolo" was coding that day. I agreed since my one on one appraisal schedule is from 11AM - 12 noon. "VEV" is under repair in the casa. I decided to do some paper works in the office while waiting for her. As usual, wala ako nagawa dahil busy makipag-chikahan sa mga bruhang taga-marketing! It's passed 3 PM and not a sign from her! So I checked on Portia, dinaanan pa daw nya si Beverly dahil ka-carpool din. Dumating din finaly, almost 4 PM. Since wala naman daw coding sa Pasig, nagmatigas din kami sa C5! Pinapara na kami ng MMDA!

MMDA: "Paki tabi nalang"
Portia: deadma ang MMDA! at tinuturo nya ako sa likod "may service kaming doctor"
Meow: Sinakyan ko na ang drama ni Portia!
"Why are we slowing down? Are we stopping? I have a patient, you cannot delay me!"

Wala ng nagawa ang MMDA dahil hindi naman kami tumigil! Si Beverly na nasa harap ang tawa lang ng tawa! Samantalang kami ni Portia ay todo sa drama! Lumagpas kami sa MMDA! Para kaming nabunutan ng tinik dahil hindi kami nahuli at hindi "nakapaglagay"! Sayang din ang pera pandagdag sa gastos sa bar! Dahil first 500 lang daw ang sagot ni Amu! "Ano, san tayo pupulutin nyan?"


Tambay kami 3 sa Paranaque. Inalam namin kung nasaan ang iba. Si Amu nasa Cardinal pa manggagaling, si Paolo, nasa office sa Las Pinas, Sila Mike at Roi sa Las Pinas for coverage, Si Albert sa Alabang may activity.


Pinuntahan muna namin sila Roi at Mike sa Las Pinas, dahil hindi ko pa nakikita si Roi mula ng maaksidente siya. "Hindi mo man lang ako dinalaw sa ospital" sinabi ni Roi pagkakita sa akin. Wala ako nasabi. Kinamusta ko na lang sya. Ok na daw at gumagaling na ang mild amnesia, nagkakabuhok na din ang ulo na kinalbo dahil sa operation.


Sa Alabang na kami gumimick para malapit kay Albert. Na guilty kasi ako ng mabalitaan ko that the night before his wedding pumunta sya sa bahay ni Portia para maghatid ng wedding invitation na may pangalan ko. Si Portia noon ang nag iinvite sa amin na umattend sa kasal ni Albert, may invitation daw kami. Ayoko ng extended lang ang invitation, gusto ko i-invite ako ng personal. But just the same, I was not able to attend Albert's wedding, hindi kasi ako nagising ng maaga! Ganun din daw ang reason nila Michelle, at Ice! Mga napakawalang kwentang kaibigan!

Dumating si Albert, hindi na nya ako siningil sa di ko pag-attend sa wedding."Pumunta ka sa baby shower ng anak ko!"

Si Beverly na toxic, nag-invite na rin sa wedding nya!

Beverly: "Naku, ang arte Meow ha! mag-iinvite na ako. Invite kita sa wedding ko, Pumunta ka!"

Meow: "Kailan ba wedding mo?"

Beverly: "Sa September!"

Wala ako nasabi kung di mag-Yes! Kahiya naman, January palang nag-invite na para lang mai-invite ako ng personal!

The get together with my former counterparts was super! We miss those who were not there with us!


I also had the chance to meet with my high school classmates. Ken, Sherwin and Daniel. Our first this year. I spend the weekend in Baguio and incidentally, Ken who is now assigned in Ilocos was also in Baguio for the weekend! Humabol din si Daniel who came from Balatoc. Sherwin was just around the city. One thing in hanging out with straight guys, there is no picture taking! Actualy, I haven't initiated, I dont know how will they react. Anyways, I gave them a copy of January 2009 issue of FHM and MAXIM.

Sherwin: "Alam mo mga gusto namin ha!"

Meow: "Naman! Alangan naman bigyan ko kayo ng CANDY or CHALK!"

Natawa na lang kami!

Next day, I slept the wholeday! NaBartek apo!

As for the O.R.A.L.S.E.X., our first gathering was during our VIP's birthday celebration in La Union. Nagulat kami sa pagdating ng isang kakapanganak palang na si Camille!

Sisterhood Ivz was there too! she was on leave just to be with us! It is so sad to know that Ivz is no longer assigned in North Luzon.

Meow: "So, hindi ka na pala Norte, hindi mo man lang nasabi sa akin, sa iba ko pa nalaman!"

Ivz: "You mean you knew, and you did not even tell me that you knew?!"

Meow: "Ivz, whag mo ako agawan ng drama!"

Pareho kami natawa!

Camille: "Na miss kita Sir Meow!"

Meow: "I know, who would'nt!"

Tawa na naman sila!


The other day nagtext ang Ditse,
Ditse: "Ate, emotera ang Shobe, naalala nya hinatid ko sya sa airport nung pa-alis sya! Kami lang dalawa!"
Ate: "I-rub in pa ba na wala ako. Na hindi ako nakapaghatid"
Ditch: "Gusto nya pumunta dito pagdating!"
Ate: "Go! Galore! Miss the days, yung nagkakagulatan sa Bar at sa you know where!"

Since wala ako entry sa blog, I never failed to read my favorite blogroll! Ewan ko kung paano naman na inspire ang isang kaibigan para mag-blog din. Like her, I was also influenced by a friend to blog.
