It is hard to be happy when you knew you would soon be sad.
It is hard to know that you are here now but soon you would be gone.
Hosting a Christmas party for the people with the Big C is not easy.
You have to be emotionally tough. Give energy and show enthusiasm.
You have to make them feel important. Make it a memorable one. But not making them feel as if it would be their last.
Hwag na muna mang-okray, o maging isang taklesa o pa-star!
This is not the usual Christmas party in the office in which everyone is out of control. But a celebration of life for the people with the Big C, wherein sharing is healing...

i lost my dad to cancer and I admire you for doing this. :)
this would not be possible without the help of the people in the industry - especialy the MDs, kanila ito talaga, support lang kami. drug companies (chemo, pain, nutrition), support groups, palliative care, and syempre ang mga sisterhood!
depressing na masaya ang feeling after.
game na game din sila. naloka ako nung nagpabring me contest, ang patient sumigaw ng "bring me a wig!" at unahan talaga sila!
sorry to hear that e.s.
